The Department and Its Programs

The Department of Educational Administration (EDAD) offers graduate programs that prepare individuals to serve and lead P-20 educational organizations in the challenges facing 21st century teaching and learning.  Areas of focus include P-12 school leadership, educational leadership, and higher education.  Specializations and concentrations are available in school improvement, professional development leadership, educational leadership, higher education, student affairs, and community college leadership.  Administrative certification/endorsement programs are available in Elementary School Administration (P-8), Secondary School Administration (7-12), Superintendent (6-Year Certificate in Educational Administration and Supervision P-12), Curriculum Supervisor for Special Education (K-12) and Curriculum Supervisor (P-12).

EDAD is one of seven academic departments within the College of Education and Human Sciences and is located in Teachers College Hall (TEAC) on the City Campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.  The main office is 141 TEAC Hall and the phone number is (402) 472-3726.
