CYAF provides students and faculty opportunities to engage on a global level. Engagement on an international scale allows faculty, students, and staff to gain experiences with countries, cultures, and customs that develop and nurture global citizenry. Being able to see and experience oneself as a global citizen engenders a global perspective that is essential for increasing the local impact of the research, teaching, outreach and extension.
