M.S., Applied Family Science, Kansas State University

B.S., Family and Child Studies, Univeristy of Ghana

I am interested in resilience among vulnerable groups specifically in Africa and hoping to work with an international humanitarian organization. My previous research interests were around divorce and children's adjustment, program implementation, and evaluation. I am still learning and exploring how to improve interventions designed by humanitarian organizations for families in Africa with an emphasis on resilience.

Why CYAF at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

I was looking for something new and different. UNL invests a lot in international outreaches and other extension projects in the US which is something I am passionate about. I was also excited to learn and be mentored by professionals who have been working with international humanitarian organizations.
