RE-APPLYING FOR ADMISSION?
UNL Graduate Studies Graduate Student Code of Conduct notes that "A student's enrollment ends when the student graduates, withdraws from the University, or fails to register for classes for three (3) consecutive semesters, with summer term considered to be a semester, or no longer has a continuing student relationship with the University."
With this said, if you do not enroll in courses for three consecutive semesters, you will need to re-apply to your program in order to continue. If you know you will be taking time off from your program, we suggest requesting an Academic Leave.
If you are re-applying to admission to your program, CYAF requires you to submit these materials as part of your Graduate Studies application:
- Personal Statement that includes explanation for why you took time away from your program and how you plan to be successful in your program moving forward.
- One (1) updated Letter of Recommendation
- Updated resume/CV
- Other materials required by UNL Graduate Studies
