Added Teaching Endorsement

Teachers who are already certified to teach may pursue an additional teaching endorsement in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. In accordance with Rule 24 of the State of Nebraska Department of Education, a supplemental endorsement means meeting the requirements set forth in the content area of the endorsement.

2. Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators (CORE) test *(If a student has a Nebraska teaching certificate, they have already met this requirement. Any student from another state will need to meet the basic skills requirement (CORE/PPST).)

6. Three letters of recommendation

Ensure that at least one reference letter is academic (e.g., instructor, advisor) and any non-academic letters are professional (e.g., relevant employer)
