12th Annual Spring Retreat

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) hosted his 12th Annual Spring Retreat on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.  This event was delivered by Zoom.
The symposium was attended by over 80 participants.

Featured speakers were experts on the topics of Adipocytes:

  • Tim J. Schulz (Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbrücke, Germany)
  • Jacqueline Stephens (Louisiana State University)
  • Hei Sook Sul (University of California- Berkeley)

Clinical, research opportunities at Barkley Center inspire Judy Harvey's career progress

Judy Harvey first came to UNL as an undergraduate student. After a few changes in her major, she eventually found her home at the Barkley Memorial Center studying to be a speech-language pathologist, and Barkley has remained a part of her life ever since.
