The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for its Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship in Trauma and Child Welfare with the Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody. The fellowship provides advanced training in trauma-informed care and the child welfare system. Fellows conduct clinical case reviews, assessment, psychological testing, and care coordination with child welfare staff; provide education and consultation to trainees and other community providers; assist with coordinating statewide projects aimed at dissemination and implementation of best practices; receive training in several evidence-based practices; and provide intake assessments and evidence-based treatment. The fellowship is based in Knoxville near the Smoky Mountains and provides services to 16 counties in East Tennessee.

 

Completion of an APA accredited internship and completion of an APA accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical/Counseling Psychology program are required.
