The Department of Psychology at Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador invites applications for a tenure track position in Child Clinical Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor, although a higher rank may be negotiated depending on experience.

This is an exciting time of growth for the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Program at Memorial University. The successful candidate will join an existing faculty of enthusiastic, collaborative, and well-supported clinicians, researchers, and scholars. Our wider department reflects a collegial and welcoming academic community that aims to support a diverse range of people and perspectives in an inclusive work environment.

Qualified applicants must have completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a predoctoral internship from a CPA- or APA-accredited program. The successful candidate will eligible to be registered for practice as a Registered Psychologist (R.Psych.) with the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board. The successful candidate must have a record of excellence in research and teaching, a commitment to mentoring diverse undergraduate and graduate students, and demonstrated passion and facility for clinical supervision. Candidates’ clinical experience conducting and supervising integrated psychological assessments and/or providing intervention with children and adolescents across a broad range of presenting concerns and using a variety of evidence-based modalities will be considered.
