International Seed Grant proposals due March 6

Through a generous donor grant, CEHS has funds available to enhance instruction and research through attention to international work and issues. Proposals are being solicited from faculty and staff to support coursework that includes international perspectives, research/creative work that includes an international component, or professional development activities and environmental improvements that will promote our international goals.

Proposals must be emailed to Deb Mullen (dmullen1@unl.edu) in a Word document by March 6, 2017.

CEHS jumps to No. 4 in national online ranking

Online graduate education programs in the College of Education and Human Sciences have been ranked fourth best nationally in an annual ranking by U.S. News & World Report announced Jan. 10. CEHS jumped 10 spots from the 2016 ranking and is the highest Big Ten program ranked in the category of best online graduate education programs.

Moser named ACTEN Postsecondary Teacher of the Year

Sheree Moser, assistant professor of practice in Child, Youth and Family Studies, has been named the Association of Career and Technical Education of Nebraska (ACTEN) Postsecondary Teacher of the Year. She received the award last month at the Nebraska Career Education Conference in Kearney.
