Ammachathram, Gray receive Family and Friends Recognition Awards

Ajai Ammachathram and Tricia Gray, faculty members in the College of Education and Human Sciences, were among the 20 University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and staff from across campus selected for the Family & Friends Recognition Awards. 

Ammachathram, associate professor and program director for hospitality, restaurant and tourism management, was selected for the award for the seventh time. It is the sixth time Gray, assistant professor of practice in teaching, learning and teacher education, has received the award. Both Ammachathram and Gray were recognized along with the other recipients at a reception March 7. 

The awards, formerly known as the Parents’ Recognition Awards, annually recognize faculty and staff who have made a significant difference in students’ lives. The Parents Association solicits nominations asking parents, family and friends to nominate a faculty or staff member.
