Alicia Davis, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. Her areas of interest and expertise include language and literacy relationships, adolescent and adult language/learning disabilities, and accent modification. She spent 15 years working in school districts in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado before joining the clinic faculty at Nebraska in 1997.

Alicia teaches Language Disorders 5-21, Professional Issues for the Communication Disorders Specialist, Accent Modification, and Adult Cognition and Language.

In 2012, Alicia began a partnership with Fiserv, Inc. to provide accent modification services via telepractice to Fiserv employees in Heredia, Costa Rica, and Noida, India. She supervises groups of speech-langauge pathology graduate students as they provide the services throughout the fall and spring semesters. In 2015, Alicia, along with Diane Farrand, led a group of speech-language pathology graduate students on the inaugural "Understanding Latic American Culture and Environment for Special Education (Graduate)", an education abroad trip to Costa Rica where the students provide accent modification services in-person at Fiserv's office in San Jose.

Alicia is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA), and currently serves on the NSLHA Continuing Education committee. She is best known for coordinating a Share Fair for students and professionals each year during the NSLHA convention. She is also UNL's National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapter adviser. Alicia is an active member of the Nebraska Cochlear Implant Sertoma Club which meets monthly at the Barkley Memorial Center.
