What is the Memory Workshop?
This is a weekly class led by speech language pathologists and graduate speech language pathology students. The target audience is individuals who would like to learn about or are concerned about memory and aging. Our purpose is to provide education about how to maintain cognitive skills and how to develop and use memory strategies. We also cover health aspects related to cognition and aging. Participants will have the opportunity to work with professionals, to share their experiences with group members, and to brainstorm and implement memory techniques. We meet at the UNL Barkley Center on East Campus in a friendly, comfortable, small group atmosphere Wednesday mornings from 10-11:30.
