Beth Dinneen, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. As a lecturer and clinical supervisor in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, she teaches the Introduction to Communication Disorders and Clinical Decision Making 1 courses, and also provides clinical supervision for graduate speech-language pathology students. She is also currently serving as the interim coordinator for the Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic's speech and language services.
Beth came to Barkley Memorial Center in 2012, and managed a research project focusing on creating a new assessment measure for infants, before becoming a full-time lecturer in 2014. Prior to her arrival at Nebraska, Beth was a speech-language pathologist for eight years for Lincoln Public Schools. She was also involved in the creation and marketing of a new AAC device, and provided training and support for teams using the device.
