Stacie Ray, Au.D., CCC-A, is a professor of practice in audiology. She teaches in both the clinical and classroom settings. Her areas of interest include amplification, counseling, and humanitarian audiology. Stacie is committed to improving accessibility to hearing healthcare and serves as the director of the Nebraska Hearing Aid Banks, a statewide program that provides amplification to low-to-mid income individuals across the lifespan. She established HearU Nebraska in 2007 and HearU International in 2015.
Stacie provides students wtih unique opportunities to gain clinical skills and knowledge through her long-term collaboration with organizations at the state, national, and international levels. Her work includes providing students with humanitarian opportunnities in Nicaragua, and simulationn learning experiences in the new Schmieding Academy for Hearing Healthcare.
A native of central Nebraska, Stacie earnned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1991. She received her master's degree in audiology from Nebraska in 2002, and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Salus University in 2008.
