Brevan Jorgenson

Ph.D. Program Innovative Learning Technologies

Brevan Jorgenson is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching,
Learning, & Teacher Education. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from the
University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO): a Bachelor of Science in Information
Technology Innovation and a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies in
Management Information Systems. Additionally, Brevan earned a Master of
Science in Education with a concentration in Leadership in Instructional
Technology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK).

Brevan has held multiple roles and additional volunteer leadership positions
during his six years working for the University of Nebraska system. After his
time at the University of Nebraska, he gained experience working for a
Silicon Valley startup. He has since moved on and continues to work in the
technology sector. In addition to working full-time in the technology
industry, Brevan has been progressing through his PhD program since joining
in the Fall of 2021.

Brevan currently resides in the Denver metropolitan area with his wife, where
they enjoy international travel, concerts, their local community arts center,
and taking advantage of the vibrant cultural food scene the area has to
offer.
