Cassandra is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education. She spent 17 years as an English, reading, and social studies teacher in rural, suburban, and urban schools.
Research Interests
Her dissertation research is exploring critical literacy practices of teachers working in politically conservative areas.
