Ndrao FAYE is a certified English language teacher and a researcher in language education. He holds an MA degree in Applied Linguistics from Université Gaston Berger, Senegal, a Secondary Schooling Teaching Certificate from the Teacher Training College in Dakar, Senegal and a certificate in Teaching English for Specific Purposes from Ohio University. Ndrao is also an alumnus of the prestigious Fulbright (FLTA) offered by IIE and the US department of States. During the Fulbright program he was teaching Wolof, the vehicular language of his home country at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education an is specialized in Teaching, Curriculum and Learning.
Research Interests
Ndrao's research interests include Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, language policies, bilingual education, multicultural education, curriculum development, and language assessment.
