Two CEHS students named Fulbright semifinalists

Two students in the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln have been named semifinalists for the 2021-22 Fulbright U.S. Student Program by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.

Grad2Grad Program to help Graduates during the Pandemic

TLTE faculty are excited to welcome back UNL bachelor graduate degree recipients into its graduate programs with the new Grad2Grad program.

Grad2Grad is the Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education department’s tuition remission initiative for UNL Graduates from spring 2020 and 2020-2021 academic years.

Residents and non-residents are encouraged to apply as this new program will be in effect the entire time students  take classes, including online classes and classes taken during the summer.

Winter session course explores schools as key pieces to helping meatpacking communities recover after pandemic

The course, “TEAC 431J/831J: Pandemics, Schools, and Helping Meatpacking Communities Recover from COVID-19” may have been created in 2020, but its origins date back much further, and the three faculty members co-teaching the course hope its impacts are equally long-lasting.

Teachers Scholars Academy

Forty recent high-school graduates have been selected to join the Teachers Scholars Academy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this upcoming fall semester. The academy was created in order to grow the teaching workforce in the state of Nebraska and address the future teacher shortage. These students will mark the inaugural cohort of the academy thanks to a generous donation from the William and Ruth Scott Family Foundation.
