What brought you to this department and this university?

I wasn't happy working in the business field, had thought about going back to school and becoming a therapist in the past. I decided it was finally time. I researched programs and really liked the Marriage and Family Therapy here at UNL.

Getting to know my cohort, the practical learning, and the opportunity to study abroad in China (read more about Markie's China study abroad experience here).

What do you do for fun?

I play volleyball, tractor pull, read, yoga, and travel.

What do you plan on doing when you finish this program?

I plan to work as a therapist, hopefully in Omaha.

What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

Working in private practice!
