I believe it is my role as a developmental psychologist to conduct and facilitate high quality research in developmental psychology and to support students as they try to conduct, understand, and apply that research to their own lives and careers. As a teacher, I feel my primary role is to support students as they learn research based theory and practice and incorporate that research into their own philosophy and professional beliefs and practice.
