Jason Platt, Ph.D. Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Jason J. Platt´s educational, research and clinical focus has been aimed at internationalizing mental health services and training. His professional interests have been aimed at exploring the effectiveness of alternative educational and training modalities, particularly on the use of critical pedagogy and theater of the oppressed. Dr. Platt has been based in Mexico City, Mexico since 2005 and has facilitated immersion programs in Mexico, India, Cuba, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Belize, and Cambodia. He served as a program director of a master’s program in International Psychology at Alliant International University for fourteen years in Mexico City, Mexico. Currently he is primarily engaged in clinical work with bi-national couples and with humanitarian aid workers around the globe.
