Woman working with child hearing

This study abroad experience is open to audiology students and advanced Spanish students, with preference to students in the Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) program. Professor of practice Stacie Ray and assistant professor of practice Hannah Ditmars lead the students on a one- to two-week annual trip to León, Nicaragua. The focus of this trip is on delivering hearing healthcare services in this much needed area of the world. Husker students have the opportunity to work alongside professors and students from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua – León. Cultural experiences and activities are included in the trip.
