Community Outreach Events to Expand CS Education in Nebraska!

December 3, 2022		Nebraska Innovation Campus, Lincoln	Hour of Code: This is an initiative by the CodeLNK group that is aimed to encourage participation in computing and provide instructional resources for K-12 students, parents, and educators. The group consists of members from K-12 schools, post-secondary institutions, and industry.
December 14, 2022	AM Session: 11am- 12pm PM Session: 5:30pm- 6:30pm	Online Events	Teaching Computer Science - Admin Sessions: Information sessions for administrators who wish to: Learn what the AP CS Principles course entails and the resources available for schools to implement the program with their students See who is in the room along with the missions of both Code.org and its Regional Partners Learn why it is important for all students to have the opportunity to learn CS Learn about the teacher training opportunities in the region
March 16-17, 2023	TBA	CHI Health Center, Omaha	Nebraska Educational Technology Association (NETA) Spring 2023 Conference: We are making our original Nebraska CODE teacher -t-shirts to show our love for teaching CS using Code.org! We will be sending one free t-shirt to every teacher in our CSD/CSPO 2020-21 cohorts. More details here.
