CYAF to Host International Symposium

The Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies will be hosting Building Family Strengths through International Family Studies: A Symposium at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on April 29-30 in the City Campus Union.
The symposium, which focuses research on families in the global context, evidence based practice/application and culturally responsive research methodology, is seeking submissions for presenters.
The purposes of 2016 Building Family Strengths through International Family Studies Symposium in Lincoln are 1) Illuminate the importance of international family studies, 2) Further develop an understanding of what is meant by international family studies, 3) Advance the research and study of families from an international family studies perspective, and 4) Increase the numbers of researchers, scholars, and practitioners contributing to international family studies.
Featured Speakers include Dr. Lina Kashyap, Dr. Rosario Esteinou Madrid, Dr. Alan Hayes, and Dr. Bahira Trask.
