Program Completion Requirements and Verification Statement Requirements

Students must successfully complete the performance indicators and designated experiences and assignments related to each of the required accreditation competencies to receive a verification of program completion.

To receive a verification of program completion, students must:

  1. Complete all graduate courses and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  2. Complete all courses with a minimum grade of "C".
  3. Complete all supervised experiential learning hours and demonstrate attainment of all accreditation competencies as documented by specific assessment method for each competency.
  4. Perform in a professional and ethical manner.

If a 3.0 GPA is not maintained, students will have the following semester to increase overall GPA to a 3.0. If the student is unable to increase the GPA to this threshold, the student will not be able to complete the program.

Arrangements must be made to correct any assignments or supervised experiential learning experiences that were not satisfactorily completed and/or do not meet the competency. This may require the student to put forth extra effort and complete additional hours.

All students who have successfully completed the requirements for the program will be granted a Verification Statement of program completion and will be eligible to sit for the RDN examination. Each student will receive copies of their Verification Statement. Copies of the Verification Statements will also be retained by the department.
