Sadie Duffy Administrative Associate

Sadie Duffy joined the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders in November 2021 as the administrative associate. In this role, she assists the department chair in planning, organizing, and monitoring of the administration of the department and the Barkley Memorial Center.

Prior to joining the department, Sadie spent more than four years serving as executive assistant to the chief executive officer at Z3 Technology, LLC. In addition to assisting the CEO with planning, organizing and administering company objectives, she was responsible for office management, coordinating events and trade shows, providing marketing support, and interviewing and onboarding for all company positions.

As an undergraduate student at Nebraska, Sadie worked in the Digital Learning Center Exam Commons for five semesters. She was promoted to Lead Proctor during her time while supervising academic honesty of university students, providing customer service for students of all majors, and problem solving computer issues during exams. She also worked in the Department of Child, Youth, and Family Studies from May 2012 through August 2014.

Sadie earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska with a double-major in psychology and art history and criticism, and a minor in English, in December 2016.
