HRTM 476/876 - Internship in Hospitality Management Application

Important Information Before You Begin:

Students are responsible for securing an internship position prior to submitting this application. Information regarding the internship site, supervisor, and position must be confirmed in advance and included as part of this application.

As an integral component of the internship experience, students work collaboratively with their site supervisor to develop meaningful learning objectives that support both their academic and professional growth. These learning objectives serve as the foundation for the internship experience and guide the student's activities, progress, and overall evaluation throughout the internship.

Before submitting this application, each student and their site supervisor should discuss and mutually agree upon the proposed learning objectives, internship responsibilities, and expected learning outcomes. The site supervisor will provide guidance and mentorship during the internship and will be responsible for evaluating the student's performance and achievement of the established learning objectives. 

Please note: Before registration for the internship course can be approved, the program will verify with your internship supervisor that they have reviewed and approved the learning objectives submitted as part of this application. Students should ensure that their supervisor is aware of and has agreed to the proposed learning objectives prior to submitting this application.
