Application and Interview Process

To make application to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Training Program (UNL ATP), each applicant must complete the following: 

1. Completed UNL ATP Application and requested document (Appendix A).
   1. Application submission is electronic and completed during the Spring Semester.
2. Completion of an interview with the UNL ATP Acceptance Committee during the Spring Semester following submission of the completed UNL ATP Application. The members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Acceptance Committee include: 
   1. Program Director
   2. Clinical Educator Coordinator
   3. UNL ATP Core Faculty Member
   4. UNL Head Athletic Trainer/Preceptor
   5. UNL ATP Preceptor
3. Following acceptance into the UNL ATP, the preprofessional student must complete a Criminal Background Check through CEHS.
