Textbook and Course Materials Fees	Average $400 per semester Student is responsible for laboratory/course fees, including any equipment required to participate in the UNL Athletic Training Program ATHT 801 - Emergency Practices in Athletic Training, $40
Professional Malpractice Insurance	No cost to students while attending clinical education activities.
Clinical Attire	New students enrolled in the UNL Athletic Training Program must purchase two UNL Athletic Training polos (approximately $50 each) and two UNL Athletic Training t-shirts (approximately $20 each) to wear at clinical sites. Additional apparel items including shirts, sweatshirts, and coats, will be available for students to purchase at various times throughout the year. Annual clothing expenses will vary based on the quantity and type of items each students purchases. Name Tags – One UNL ATP Name Tag will be provided by the program. Additional name tags may be purchased at a cost of $10.00 each.
Immunizations, Health and Dental Insurance	Students are responsible for the costs associated with obtaining required immunizations. Students are responsible for obtaining personal Health and Dental Insurance. Cost of Insurance will vary by student. Students have the option to purchase health insurance from the university.
Emergency Cardiac Care Training	One-time required fee collected separately from regular tuition fees as part of ATHT 801 -Emergency Practices in Athletic Training (approximate cost: $30.00).
Travel to Off-Campus Clinical Assignments	Students are responsible for obtaining reliable transportation to and from assigned off campus clinical sites. The cost of transportation will vary based on the type of transportation, location of the assigned clinical site, and the clinical schedule developed between the student and the assigned clinical preceptor. Students assigned to off campus clinical sites are encouraged to car-pool with fellow students when available.
Professional Association Memberships	NATA student membership information Membership with NATA includes national, district, and state memberships; members with an international address do not receive state and district membership. Criminal Background Check	Approximately $29.00 including Nebraska tax. Initial background check is valid for three years.
