The Student Academy of Audiology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Lincoln beginning Nov. 1.

Four donation barrels will be placed on campus for the food drive, with two barrels in the Barkley Memorial Center and one in the Home Economics Building, both on East Campus. The fourth barrel will be located in Henzlik Hall on City Campus. The food drive will run for more than three weeks, with the barrels at the Barkley Center being picked up Nov. 27 and the barrels in Home Economics and Henzlik being picked up Nov. 28.

The Food Bank of Lincoln has a list of the most needed food items available on its website. Those items include tuna or canned chicken, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, macaroni & cheese and other boxed dinners, 100 percent fruit juices, olive or canola oil, spices, cereal, and coffee. In addition, the most needed personal care items include bath tissue, shampoo, toothpaste, soap, and diapers and wipes.
