CEHS programs among nation’s best in 2024 U.S. News & World Report Graduate School rankings

The College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln had three programs ranked for excellent performance in the 2024 Best Graduate Schools rankings, as announced by U.S. News & World Report on April 9. 

CEHS was featured on lists for graduate programs in audiology, speech-language pathology and education. CEHS ranked: 

• Tied for 19^th in the nation for “Best Audiology Programs” for the program offered by the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders
• Tied for 21^st in the nation for “Best Speech-Language Pathology Programs” for the program offered by the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders
• Tied for 63^rd in the nation for “Best Education Schools” 

“Consistent national recognition of our programs affirms the ways our award-winning faculty members are preparing students for success,” CEHS Acting Dean Nick Pace said. “Our people are discovering what works and putting students in positions to make progress and learning happen. And that changes lives.” 

The top graduate health program rankings are based solely on ratings of each program’s quality by academics. The U.S. News & World Report evaluated education schools on research activity, academic excellence of entering students, faculty resources, and opinions on program quality from education school deans and school hiring professionals. The Best Education ranking is designed for prospective students seeking a doctorate in education.
