Financial support is available for eligible CEHS students at all levels. To be eligible students must have declared a CEHS major and be enrolled in courses required by the major.
Awards are determined by matching eligible students with scholarship criteria, which may include: Area of Major or Specialization, Class Standing, Financial Need, etc.
Incoming Freshmen
Completion of the UNL Application for Admission by January 15, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) provides the information needed for scholarship awards to incoming freshmen.
Upperclass Students
Complete the online UNL Upper Class Scholarship Application on MyRed between November 1 and February 1 and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Graduate Students
Graduate fellowships are awarded in the CEHS departments. Check the department websites for fellowship details. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to be eligible for need-based awards.
