Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic voted Best of Lincoln

The Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was voted in the top two in two different categories in the 2024 Journal Star Lincoln’s Choice Awards presented by Union Bank & Trust. 

The Barkley Clinic was the winner in the speech therapy category, topping runner-up Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals and honorable mention Tabitha Health Care Services. The Barkley Clinic was the runner-up in the audiology/hearing centers category behind ENT Specialties, P.C. Nebraska Hearing Center was honorable mention. 

“Our speech pathologists, graduate students and office staff are excited to be selected for the Lincoln’s Choice Award,” said Beth Dinneen, interim speech-language pathology clinic coordinator. “Our goal is to support the communication needs of all individuals. We want to thank the community for allowing us to do so! We look forward to providing the best client-centered care we can in the future.” 

The Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic is located in the Barkley Memorial Center on UNL’s East Campus. It provides services for individuals with speech, language, hearing and balance impairments. Clinic providers serve all ages and address a broad range of disorders. Services are provided by licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathology and audiology faculty members and graduate student clinicians in UNL’s speech-language pathology and audiology training programs.
