Dietetics (Online) Specialization
Master of Science (M.S.) in Nutrition and Health Sciences
The Dietetics online graduate program is available to:
- Registered Dietitians (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN)
- Those who have a Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics Verification Statement from an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)-accredited Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Note: Having the DPD Verification Statement and subsequently completing the MS online program does not qualify one to sit for the Commission on Dietetic Registration credentialing exam to become a RD/RDN. In addition to the DPD Verification Statement and completion of a graduate degree, individuals need to apply to and successfully complete an ACEND-accredited dietetic internship program that accepts applicants who have already earned a graduate degree. Applications to dietetic internship programs are competitive and admission to the program is not guaranteed based solely on having obtained both the DPD Verification Statement and a graduate degree.
