Michael Burton's solo exhibition at Kiechel Fine Art opening reception scheduled for January 10, 2020

Michael Burton’s solo exhibition A Gold Slipper at the Kiechel Fine Arts (1208 “O” Street) is scheduled January 10, 2020 – February 14, 2020.  An opening reception will take place on January 10, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a soprano vocalist singing at 7:00 p.m.  A Gold Slipper was written by Willa Sibert Cather in 1917.  This exhibition is a creative interpretation of the 100-year old short story featuring filmed tableaus and illustrations of historic objects from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design collection.  The project is funded by the Willa Cather Project at UNL.
