PILLAR I - Classroom Education
Students in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Training Program (UNL ATP) will have the opportunity to experience quality classroom instruction with a focus on the latest advancements in evidence-based practice.
PILLAR II - Clinical Education
Students will receive practical real-world experience in state-of-the-art healthcare facilities learning from experienced interdisciplinary and intra-disciplinary groups of healthcare providers. During these experiences, students will be able to practice, demonstrate, and integrate clinical competence of skills taught in the classroom on actual patients under the direct supervision of a UNL ATP program preceptor.
PILLAR III - Cultural Competence
Students will gain cultural competence through a comprehensive didactic educational experience and a diverse patient population in multiple clinical environments.
