The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Training Program (UNL ATP) is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) and adheres to a comprehensive assessment plan to foster continuous improvement. This plan collects vital data to assess the quality of instruction, student learning, and overall program effectiveness. Both direct and indirect assessment methods are employed, including graduation rates, employment outcomes, retention rates, alumni surveys, Board of Certification (BOC) exam pass rates, course and preceptor evaluations, and clinical site evaluations. These tools guide action plans for ongoing program enhancement.
The UNL ATP is in good standing and is scheduled for a self-study and site visit during the 2032-2033 academic year.
