Staying in regular contact with your faculty advisor and making at least satisfactory progress in research, courses, and other program requirements are among the most important ways to remain in good standing in graduate programs. Also, try to understand and resolve concerns as soon as possible. Some concerns or problems may lead to probation and/or termination.
