The Scarlet Hotel on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Innovation Campus will be the new home of the Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management program, with space for new classrooms, offices, community space and a commercial teaching kitchen. The teaching kitchen, which will be modeled after a commercial kitchen used in the hospitality industry, will be conducive to hands-on learning for HRTM students.
The space will include:
• instructor demo cooking station
• stoves, ovens and fryers
• refrigerators and walk-in cooler
• student worktables and prep tables
• cleaning station
