Kristin Malek receives IANR’s Omtvedt Innovation Award

Kristin Malek, assistant professor and event management extension specialist in the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences , was honored with the Omtvedt Innovation Award during an awards reception Nov. 30 at the Nebraska East Union. Presented by the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Omtvedt Innovation Award recognizes innovative faculty members or a team led by faculty, who have demonstrated exceptional abilities and innovation in the areas of teaching, research or extension education.
