Courtney Stauffer, Au.D., CCC-A joined the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders as a lecturer and audiologist in the Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic in October 2025.

In her current role, Stauffer's primary responsibilities include providing hearing evaluations and hearing aid appointments including evaluation, fitting, and follow up care at our onsite clinic. Prior to joining SECD, Stauffer worked as an audiologist in an ear nose and throat clinic seeing patients across the lifespan.

Stauffer received all three of her degrees at Nebraska, earning her bachelor's degree in communication disorders and master's degree in speech-language pathology and audiology in 2020 and 2022, respectively, and her doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) in 2024. Stauffer is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Nebraska-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA).
