Heidi Menard Wins Staff Star Award

On behalf of the Staff Council we would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Heidi Menard, Staff Secretary III for the Special Education and Communication Disorders department, for being selected as the August recipient of our Staff Star Award!!

Some of the things Heidi’s nominators said about her are:

• Heidi will do whatever is needed to facilitate the department’s mission.
• She has repeatedly demonstrated her teamwork and willingness to go above the call of duty to meet a common goal and make sure we can work in the most efficient way possible.
•  She has taken on many tasks that are beyond her usual expectations for this kind of office position.
• She relishes challenging tasks and learning new skills to meet those challenges, yet remains positive and highly effective about everything she faces in her work environment.

We most heartily recommend Heidi for the STAR AWARD and hope that she remains happy and stays at the SECD department indefinitely!  So, if you get a chance, stop by the Barkley Center, room 202 and congratulate Heidi. She is very deserving of this award!
