Psychometric Society meeting is July 9-12

The Department of Educational Psychology, College of Education and Human Sciences is hosting the 77th Annual Conference of the Psychometric Society. The conference will be held at the Cornhusker Hotel July 9-12, with workshops July 9 and the main meeting beginning July 10.

The Psychometric Society was founded in 1935. It is an international nonprofit professional organization devoted to the advancement of quantitative measurement practices in psychology, education, and the social sciences. The Society publishes the journal Psychometrika, which contains articles on the development of quantitative models of psychological phenomena, as well as statistical methods and mathematical techniques for the evaluation of psychological and educational data.

Psychometricians from all parts of the world will take part in IMPS 2012. They will represent countries from throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Early registration closes July 2. More details are at the link below.
