The Student Teaching Application is CLOSED for Spring 2025.

According to the undergraduate bulletin, the following requirements must be met PRIOR to student teaching:

  • Successful completion of  all content and methods courses with the appropriate grades;
  • Completion of a culturally diverse experience during a practicum (if not completed, your student teaching assignment will be made to meet this requirement); 
  • A criminal history self-report form submission will be required.
  • Attendance at Student Teaching Orientation.

Please note: You will be responsible for the contents of the Student Teaching Handbook when you begin your student teaching assignment. This includes reading and understanding The College of Education & Human Sciences Professional and Ethical Behavior Policy.  An electronic copy of the Student Teaching Handbook is available on the website.

Application Instructions

You will need download and complete the Personal and Professional Fitness FormCriminal History Self-Report Form and then attach them in the appropriate spots as part of the application below.  Additionally, you will need to upload a resume and cover letter before submitting the application.  For cover letter and resume tips and tricks, go to application resources on the previous webpage or visit a CEHS Career Coach.  All of these documents should be uploaded in this format:  last name, first name, name of document. Example:  Husker,Herbieresume
