UNL Project RAÍCES Scholars Program

UNL Project RAÍCES Scholars Program

The Project RAÍCES Scholars (PRS) program will grow the next generation of diverse educators that will lead the way for educational change. The program aim is to prepare teachers who will be educational pillars in the very same communities where they have grown up, contributing to the public schools and the communities where they come from. We intend that teachers who emerge from the PRS program will be prepared and excited to teach the vibrant and diverse students in their home communities.

Once they become teachers, PRS scholars will adeptly include all their students and parents in joint efforts to assure students’ academic and personal engagement and success.
