My Name is Ali Nemati. I am currently a doctoral student in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Shiraz University. Over the course of approximately ten years, I taught in various language institutes, which significantly enriched my pedagogical experience. This professional journey also inspired my academic engagement with the field of teacher identity.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a student-athlete. I was a member of the national karate team in my home country, earning multiple international medals. Through dedicated effort, I was also able to secure a silver medal at the US International Karate Championship in Texas (July 2025). At present, alongside my studies and research, I am rigorously training to qualify for the World University Games, with the aspiration of bringing honor to UNL, the TLTE department in particular.
My daily routine reflects a commitment to holistic development: I dedicate twenty minutes each day to playing a musical instrument, practice vocal performance, study the French language, and engage in the art of calligraphy, which I deeply admire. I consider myself a successful individual and extend my sincere wishes for success to all who pursue their goals with passion and perseverance.
