Accessing NotebookLM without a personal Gmail account Using Your Existing Work Email Address

1. Signing in
   When you click the NotebookLM link and your browser does not have a Google Account signed in, it will automatically take you to the Google Account Sign-In page. From there, you can sign in to an existing account or create a new one — follow the steps below to create one using your existing UNL email.
    
2. Click "Create account"
   On the sign-in page, look for the "Create account" button and click it.
    
3. Select "For my personal use"
   A dropdown menu will appear. Choose "For my personal use" from the options.
    
4. Enter your first and last name
   Type in your first name and last name, then click Next.
    
5. Enter your birthday and gender
   Fill in your date of birth and select your gender from the options provided, then click Next.
    
6. Tap or click "Use your existing email"
   This is the key step! Instead of creating a new Gmail address, choose "Use your existing email", then click Next.
    
7. Enter your work email address
   Type in your UNL email address in the field provided, then click Next. Google will send a verification code to that email.
    
8. Verify your email address
   Check your inbox for the verification code from Google. Enter the code and click Next.
    
9. Create a strong password 
   After verifying your email, Google will prompt you to create a password for your new account. Enter a strong password, confirm it, and click Next.
    
10. Enter your phone number
    Google will ask for a phone number. If the number you enter is already linked to an existing Google account, you will see a message letting you know — you can choose to continue creating a new account anyway. This is fine and will not affect your other account.
     
11. Complete the setup
    Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to finish setting up your account.
