Virtual SBEd & Breakfast to focus on research collaboration with Nebraska Extension

26 Oct 2020     By Chuck Green, CYFS

You are invited to an online SBEd & Breakfast conversation Nov. 12 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

The virtual event, hosted by CYFS and Nebraska Extension, will focus on strengthening connections between Extension educators and on-campus faculty to promote statewide research/program collaboration in the social, behavioral and educational sciences (SBEd).

The event is free but requires registration. Space is limited, so please register by Nov. 5.

The primary discussion themes will be early childhood and youth mental health. Breakout sessions will be organized for more in-depth conversations around specific topics within these themes. Funding opportunities will be shared to spark ideas and generate collaborative proposals/programs as a result of these discussions.

SBEd & Breakfast is open to Extension educators and all researchers in the social, behavioral and educational sciences — especially early career researchers.

Since we are unable to serve food and coffee, participants will be eligible to win one of two gift cards to treat themselves to breakfast.

Please contact CYFS Proposal Development Coordinator Julie Gillmor if you have any questions.
