Stephanie Bondi named to Diversity Scholars Network

28 Feb 2022

The National Center for Institutional Diversity at the University of Michigan has named Stephanie Bondi, associate professor of practice in the Department of Educational Administration a member of its Diversity Scholars Network.

The Diversity Scholars Network is a scholarly community committed to advancing understandings of historical and contemporary social issues related to identity, difference, culture, representation, power, oppression, and inequality — as they occur and affect individuals, groups, communities, and institutions.

"I’m honored to be selected for the Diversity Scholars Network and be connected to so many outstanding individuals across the country doing this work,” Bondi said. “I’m looking forward to applying my insights about higher education in work with others addressing justice and equity issues.”

Bondi will join an international community of over 1,500 diversity scholars in order to:

  • Engage in a scholarly community to collaborate and mobilize for social change
  • Receive support to produce scholarship
  • Access opportunities to translate and disseminate scholarship
  • Become part of a collective to advance diversity scholarship in the academy
