Four students from the College of Education and Human Sciences were selected to serve as New Student Enrollment orientation leaders at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for 2024-25.
UNL’s orientation leaders lead campus tours, serve as resources for new students, facilitate small- and large-group activities, contribute to events during Big Red Welcome and Power Up Weekend, and gain internship experience.
The four students from CEHS who will serve as orientation leaders are listed below with their year, major and hometown.
- Michelle Garcia-Barillas – sophomore, secondary education: social science, Grand Island, Nebraska
- Claire Kelly – sophomore, elementary education, Grand Island, Nebraska
- Makayla Larntz – sophomore, human development and family science, Chandler, Arizona
- Jameson Margetts – junior, secondary education: English language arts, Chadron, Nebraska
